The calculators
The numbers you type into the calculators stay on your device unless you send them with one of the forms below. There are no analytics or advertising cookies on this page.
When you send something
Ask us: answers are written by an AI assistant. Each question you type is sent to Anthropic, the company whose AI writes the answer, and the question and the answer are emailed to Joe. Under its commercial terms Anthropic doesn't use them to train its AI, and may keep them for a limited time, longer if flagged under its usage policy (see Anthropic's privacy policy). Each question is screened for an email address, a phone or account number, or a Social Security number, and when one is found the question isn't sent to the AI; it goes only to Joe. The screen can miss some, so please leave these details out. If you ask Joe to follow up, your name, email and phone go only to Joe, never to the AI.
Email me these numbers: the numbers are emailed to the address you enter. Joe gets a separate email with your name, email, phone if given, any property address you typed, and the same numbers, to follow up.
These emails are sent through Google Workspace and stay in the email accounts that send and receive them. This page keeps no other copy. Your details aren't sold, they aren't shared except with Anthropic to answer Ask us questions, and you won't be added to a mailing list. Any later message is Joe replying personally.
What else is recorded
The company that hosts this page keeps routine server logs, such as IP addresses and the time of each visit, for security and to keep the site running. Nothing else tracks you here, and no one else collects information about your browsing on this page. The page doesn't change how it works in response to a browser's “Do Not Track” signal, since there is no tracking to turn off.
Deleting your details, and changes
To have your details deleted from those emails, write to joe@joefarro.com. They'll be deleted, except where the law requires a record to be kept. If this policy changes, the new version will be posted here with a new effective date.
